Software Reviews of Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Student and Teacher [OLD VERSION]Customer Review: Works well enough - sluggish on Intel-based Macs Summary: 4 StarsThe Microsoft Office suite for Mac works well enough. The main thing is that it is fully-compatible with the PC version, which makes transferring and sharing documents very easy. It runs sluggishly on the new Intel-based Macs, but it runs well enough. Looking forward to Office 2008, which will be a Universal Binary version.
Customer Review: MS Office 2004 for Mac Summary: 4 StarsOffice continues to be a good product from MS. I'm new to Mac's and Office is doing it's job.
Customer Review: Office 2004 with 2008 in March, such a deal! Summary: 3 StarsRating 3 cause it doesn't work so fast with my Intel Mac, so I am looking forward to the new version. I am looking forward to increased performance. I took the leap of faith to get a great deal.
I purchased this copy of 2004 Office to take advantage of the Black Friday "BFD" promotion. Following the paper work and getting everything in the envelope was a challenge and as with all rebate schemes I can only keep my fingers crossed...Put the envelope in the mailbox and keep the faith.
If all goes well I'll receive my $100 rebate and in March my copy of Office 2008 will arrive as promised.
Customer Review: Great Deal! Summary: 5 StarsIt's not that Office Mac 2004 is such a great product (although it is a good product); it's that by buying it I will get an Office Mac 2008 for a grand total of about $2.50. I already had a bought a copy of Office Mac 2004 several years ago, but I couldn't pass up the offer.
It's the first time I have bought something from Amazon and the experience was excellent. I bought Office 2004 on Friday 11/23/07 with free shipping. I received the product on Wednesday 11/28/07. The 3rd business day after I bought it and about a week before it was projected to be delivered to me.
Customer Review: Microsoft Office 2004 - Macintosh Summary: 3 StarsI purchased this product on black Friday solely because of the free upgrade to Office 2008. 2004 has fallen behind its Windows counterpart - but the 2008 upgrade promises to not only catch-up, but have features not found on the Windows version.
