Windows 2000 was released after Win98. Windows 2000 has richer colors then 98 and NT and 95. WinXP gives you choises of slecting colors. Of course the back ground and all that. WinXP is much faster then Win2000. If you want to have a computer be aware of Windows 95. Windows 95 can only play weak PC games that have 300Mhz or lower. 98 can play most out of all PC games. Today, we have advanced technology which gives us a better life for computers. 2000 and XP can play all the games because they are newer then 98, NT and 95. I Gotta Say, This OS is probabbly the best OS Microsofthas ever released! It's so fast and so stable it's wired when you compare to Microsoft 98 from the blue screen of death to just a beautiful blue screen desktop. Windows ME is actually the same as 200 only it's the home edition and it's a lot cheaper. (NOT THE PRICE!) Windows XP Is Nice, but I like Windows 2000 a lot better!! I love the Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. I think it manages all the things I have to do and it does it perfectally well. If you have a Pentium 4 and have this OS it is really a good combination. If you have a Pentium through Pentium III you really might want to think about XP because it does make it run a little bit faster. I love the applications this version has. I can just scroll through all the screens and everything is right there! If you buy 2000 Professional Edition you should get the Microsoft Office 2000 Professional Edition also. Microsoft is a very nice company and I think Bill Gates is the man. Microsoft just went wrong with the XP but that is the only Microsoft OS I dislike. I might be trying to convert to Apple but I am still going to keep Microsoft computers. If you were born and raised on Microsoft it isn't too hard to run it! People keep on saying Mac OS (earlier than X) was easier to operate than 95-2000 versions but for real life most people in the U.S. and other countries have Microsoft. I like both companies and if Microsoft makes another good OS after XP I will stick with them from then on.Customer Review: the best OS from Microsoft

I have used all operating systems Microsoft has released since Windows 3.1 (except Win ME), and this is my favorite. Windows 3.1, 95 and NT are way too obsolete, so W2K's real "competitors" are Win98, 98SE and XP. Win98 and Win98SE start up much faster than W2K, but the former are infinitely less stable, causing the computer to crash all the time. WinXP and W2K seem to be quite similar, but W2K takes up less space and appears to be a tad more stable.
