Customer Review: Decent if you Don't Upgrade a Second Year

Microsoft Live OneCare is satisfying in that it takes choice and complexity away from this type of software but it gives you too little control in terms of reviewing reports of its actions. I was pleased with it the first year I used but had a major issue trying to re-new it from a purchase of it from Amazon. Getting a tech support # to call was unbelievably frustrating, and after this experience, will settle on something different next year. Customer Review: Bev the Great

This software isn't meant to be as explained by Microsoft. You have to uninstall it and reinstall it constantly. Always has problems. Suppose to work in the background to protect your computer. Well, it does not do that. I had gotten a virus in my computer and then had to restore my PC. After this, I uninstalled it for good. If I had known all of this before I purchased it, I surely would not have bought it. The free virus protection works 100% better and doesn't have to be uninstalled over and over.Customer Review: J U N K

if you want a product that will fight with all your other programs, ruin your firewall, and mess up every setting on your computer then this is what you need. WHY WOULD MICROSOFT PUT OUT SOMETHING THAT SCREWS UP MICROSOFT PRODUCTS, IT WON'T EVEN WORK WITH WINDOWS DEFENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Customer Review: Excellent product

I have used Norton for many years but grew weary of the price tag. I tried Windows One Care initally due to the low price plus Microsoft brand. I am most pleased. The sign up process was a bit tedious but once I got past that, the software is fantastic! My 2001 vintage computer now runs faster (I was shocked at the improvement). We can now print from our laptop to a printer hooked up to our desktop (the printer was not originally networkable). Did I mention the security is great and found some items Norton missed? Buy this security software. You will not regret it.Customer Review: Windows live one care

Always frustrating dealing with Microsoft but seems to be best choice at this time. Their tech support is lousy if you need it.
