I had Vista Ultimate 64 bit for three years now, sense serv. pk 2 it is aloght faster. With XP i would have reinstalled it 3 times
in that time, Because it would start slowing down and the blue screen of death. With vista it would just keep getting bitter as time goese on.

I have been using this Windows version for over 2+ years with no major problems. Every system will have an occasional issue but most times it is the user who makes it worse or has too many conflicting add-on programs installed (known or unknown).Customer Review: Vista Ultimate Really Works

I purchased Vista Ultimate when the Home Premium (OEM)which came with my Gateway computer became corrupted. I paid much less than the suggested price and will get the upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate for free (9.99 S&H) when it is released. No Problems and am very satisfied.

I can't wait for Windows 7 to come out. I installed Vista over Windows XP and have had no end of problems with my computer. Sound card won't work, browser won't print, etc. etc. It's probably my fault for not doing a better compatibility check, but it's still annoying. Customer Review: Gulp, I've made the leap

Ok, so maybe I blew my fear of Vista a little out of proportion. I don't like change, ok? But a few months ago when I rebuilt my desktop PC, I decided to bite the bullet and install this copy of Vista Ultimate I've had sitting around for months. I'd been using a beta of Windows 7 before the untimely death of my desktop, so I figured the switch shouldn't be TOO scary. It wasn't. Vista installed SO much quicker and easier than XP ever has for me (I was up and running in about an hour from beginning the install). It took a little getting used to, as I've been an XP user since it's introduction, but I found Vista to be mostly logical. I did a lot of Googling the first few days while I found my way around, but nothing crippling.
I like the sidebar, and find the search feature much more efficient than XP. Programs load faster, and in general my experience has been good. I still object to some of Microsoft's licensing restrictions on general principle, but I doubt that's going to change in any future OS releases so I may as well accept it.
